The UWI Open Campus is offering a Postgraduate Certificate in Disaster Risk Management and Resilience. This is a foundational programme which seeks to meet the education and skill sets needed to support the Caribbean’s ability to effectively manage its physical and human resources in order to mitigate or minimize adverse outcomes of natural hazard impacts, and by extension build the region’s capacity of resilience at such times. This programme targets practitioners who work in the field of disaster management and climate change resilience and who are interested in enhancing their technical skills and competencies.
